Itinerary

• Pick up at listed hotel for a fascinating tour of the holy city of Jerusalem.

• Start with a great panoramic view of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, pointing out the important sites with a short explanation about the city’s past and present.

• Continue for a walking tour of the Old City. We will enter the old walled city through Zion Gate, one of the main gates from ancient times and into the Armenian Quarter.

• In the Jewish Quarter, visit the ancient Byzantine Cardo, an integral component of city planning lined with shops and vendors that served as a hub of economic life.

• Stop at the Western Wall (also known as The Kotel or Wailing Wall), a section of the supporting wall of the Temple Mount that has remained intact since the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 AD.

• Walk along the Via Dolorosa, passing the Stations of the Cross on the way to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, incorporating both Calvary and the Resurrection Tombs.

• Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the Souk before exiting the Old City at Jaffa Gate.

• Travel south to Bethlehem and into Manger Square before entering the Church of the Nativity. See the Grotto, where a star indicates the birthplace of Jesus; the Manger and an alter dedicated to the Three Wise Men.

• At the end of the day, drive back for drop off at the pick up hotel.
