Terms and Conditions
Rates
All rates are shown in U.S Dollars (US$).
Rates are valid ONLY for tourists holding a foreign passport, and NOT for Israeli citizens.
Every tourist who enters Israel on a foreign passport will receive a B2 tourist visa slip at Passport control. This slip will exempt them from paying VAT (Value Added Tax), which applies only to Israeli citizens.
The B2 slip will have to be presented in every Israeli hotel upon check-in, which means that it should not be left behind in the first hotel you are staying at.
Not presenting the B2 slip at reception on check-in to hotels, will mean guests will be charged with VAT by the hotel.
All other persons entering Israel including those with dual citizenship, one of which is Israeli, are subject to 17% VAT.
Hotel Ratings
Israel does not have an official star rating system for all of its hotels, therefore the hotels featured in our multi-day tours are presented as Tourist Class, First Class, Superior Class or Deluxe Class.
The equivalent standards are usually attributed as follows:
Tourist Class = 3 Star, First Class = 4 Star, Superior Class = 4 Star Superior, Deluxe Class = 5 Star
(It should be noted that hotel standards/grading vary from country to country and the above details are as a guideline only – more specific information on the hotels used can be advised by our reservations team).
Hotel check-in / check-out times
Check in: 14:00 (2:00 P.M.)
Check out: 12:00 (Noon)
Check in on Saturdays and Holidays – 2 hours after sunset.
Special requests e.g. bed type, non-smoking room, connecting, etc. will be passed on to the relevant supplier, however they are not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed in writing by us.
Please note your name and details may not be registered with the hotel until 7-14 days prior to arrival.
Dinner Supplements
Dinners included as part of a package, or added as an optional supplement, are provided in the hotel dining room as a buffet service.
Some tours include dinners as part of the package. These tours do not provide dinner on the first night (arrival day).
On tours where dinner supplements are available to add, dinners are not provided on the first night (arrival day).
Some tours – where dinner supplements are available to add – cannot provide dinner every night due to flight times.
The amount of dinners provided on each tour is shown in the optional supplement. For the exact days the dinner is provided during the tour, please ask the reservation department.
Airport Transfers
Airport arrival and/or departure transfers which are included on multi-day tours beginning in Israel will only be provided for clients who have hotel reservations – including pre-tour or post-tour nights – booked through us.
The maximum amount of transfers provided per booking will be according to the amount of rooms reserved. If clients arrive and/or depart on separate flights, any extra meet & greet assistance and transfers required will be charged accordingly.
In case of changes causing passengers to arrive on different or delayed flights, we cannot be responsible for providing a new transfer. Passengers will be required to make their own way to their hotel.
Liability & Responsibility
Since there are no official hotel ratings in Israel, please note that the hotel categories are for indication only.
The Tour Operator acts only as an agent for companies, owners or contractors providing transportation, hotel accommodations or any other services and are not in any way liable for injury, loss, damage, delay or accident.
Daily tours may be operated in conjunction with other Israeli tour operators/agents/suppliers.
On multi-day tours, the sequence of the tour, hotels used, and sites visited may be amended due to circumstances.
We reserve the right to change the sequence of the tour as long as we include all the sightseeing as in the program. We also reserve the right to amend the hotels/city/region used for certain overnights during tours.
Passport & Visa Details
Due to Israeli law, every non-Israeli guest staying in a hotel, participating in a daily tour or receiving any other tourism services in Israel MUST provide passport details.
Non-Israeli guests without passport details provided on time may be charged by the supplier with VAT (17%) as per law.
Passport details including – Full Name / Passport Number / Nationality should be sent at the time of reservation.
Please note that your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date.
While most nationalities receive tourist visas on arrival at airports and/or at border crossings, certain nationalities require visas arranged in advance to enter Israel or Jordan or Egypt. Please check with the relevant consulates for each country or ask us to give you the information.
Any client that is participating in a multi-country tour (i.e. also visiting Jordan and/or Egypt) that requires an advance visa for entry to Israel, must ensure that they have a multiple-entry visa to Israel if they are returning to Israel after visiting another country. (Clients arriving to Israel but departing from Jordan or Egypt at the end of their tour do not require a multiple-entry visa to Israel).
It is the responsibility of the client to make arrangements for any necessary visas required in advance for entry to countries which are part of the tours.
All visitors to Israel must have either a valid visa or an ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization) entry approval, before starting their journey. Please see the relevant information in the FAQ section – click here
